Dr Tony Richards is a gynaecologist with subspecialty qualifications in Gynaecological Oncology (Cancer surgery).
Dr Richards is the Clinical Lead in Gynaecology Oncology at Sunshine Hospital.
Dr Richards has special expertise in:
Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology
Gynaecological Cancers
Complex Benign Gynaecological Surgery
Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery
Familial Cancer/Risk reduction surgery
Dr Richards is passionate about multidisciplinary gynaecological cancer care and is actively involved in decision-making for patients presented to multidisciplinary team meetings.
He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Gynaecology Oncology group and is active in Gynaecology Cancer clinical research.
Dr Richards completed his Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Oncology subspecialty training in Sydney and has previously been in private practice in New South Wales.
Dr Richards is a Clinical Senior Lecturer aligned with the University of Melbourne.
