Dr Carmel McInerney

Carmel is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.  She has completed her training through the Royal Women’s Hospital and Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s. 

Carmel is an empathetic and holistic clinician, who provides care to women of all ages with a wide range of conditions.   

She provides consultation at Elgin House in

• Colposcopy and abnormal cervical screening tests (CSTs)

• Contraception including IUD insertion

• Heavy, painful or irregular periods

• Endometriosis and adenomyosis

• Pelvic pain

• Menopause

• PCOS

• Pre-Pregnancy counselling

• Early pregnancy concerns, such as abnormal bleeding and miscarriage

Carmel operates at Epworth Freemasons, and has a public appointment at Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s.
