Elgin House brings together a hand-picked team of doctors, advanced laparoscopic surgeons and allied health practitioners with particular expertise in endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain. Founded by advanced laparoscopic surgeon Dr Clare Myers, Elgin House was created around a more connected model of care.

From diagnosis and medical management to surgery, pelvic physiotherapy, bladder and bowel care, fertility, nutrition and naturopathy, your care is tailored to you and coordinated by a team that understands the complexity of pelvic pain.

Endometriosis is rarely just about a period. And effective pelvic pain care is rarely about one treatment alone.

Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain

Care that looks beyond the pain.

Elgin House was founded by Dr Clare Myers, MBBS (Hons), FRANZCOG, specialist gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon with particular expertise in complex endometriosis and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

After years of caring for women+ with complex endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain, Clare recognised that surgery is only one part of the picture. She created Elgin House around a genuinely multidisciplinary model, bringing together specialist medical and allied health care to support the many overlapping factors that can contribute to pelvic pain.

Endometriosis and pelvic pain can affect much more than your period.

Does this sound like you?

The Elgin House Care Pathway.

1. We listen

We start with you.

Your story, your pain, your cycle, bowel and bladder symptoms, sexual health, previous treatments, fertility goals and the impact symptoms are having on your life.

2. We investigate

Your practitioner reviews what's already known, identifies what still needs answering and recommends further assessment only where it is useful.

4. We build your treatment plan

Medical management, surgery, rehabilitation, pelvic physiotherapy, nutrition, fertility support and other therapies can be combined where appropriate.

Your treatment plan is built around your symptoms, priorities and goals - rather than expecting you to fit into a predetermined pathway.

3. We bring in the right expertise

Not everyone needs the entire team.

Depending on what's driving your symptoms, your care may involve pelvic physiotherapy, urogynaecology, naturopathy, fertility specialists or another member of our broader team.

5. We stay with you

Your needs may change.

We support recovery, symptom flares, fertility decisions and longer-term management pathways.

Multidisciplinary care doesn't mean seeing everyone. It means having the right expertise available when you need it.

Collaborative Care Under One Roof.

You shouldn't have to assemble your own healthcare team.

Elgin House brings together skilled practitioners selected for their expertise and passion for managing the different aspects of endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain.

Whether your care involves one practitioner or several, the aim remains the same: to understand the whole picture and connect you with the care that is most appropriate for you.
