Dr Kristy Fennessy is a consultant gynaecologist who has extensive experience seeing women of all ages for general gynaecology issues.
Dr Fennessy provides her patients with thorough consultations including all investigations, minor procedures and complex issues requiring surgery.
Dr Fennessy has a gentle and empathetic approach which helps patients to feel at ease and will give patients the time and care they need.
Dr Fennessy consults at Elgin House for patients with the following issues:
Contraception including IUD (Mirena) insertion
CST- abnormal results
Pelvic Pain
PCOS
Colposcopies
Abnormal periods
Menopause
Dr Fennessy completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Melbourne University and a Bachelor of Science (Hons), Melbourne University.
Dr Fennessy obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
Dr Fennessy performs private surgery at Freemasons Hospital and holds a public appointment at Sunshine Hospital.
