Making babies

Fertility is defined as the ability to have a biological child.
The treatment for infertility is often multi-faceted and can be dependent on a wide number of factors, including age, lifestyle and common fertility conditions.

We recommend seeing an experienced fertility specialist if you have any concerns or questions regarding you or your partner’s fertility.

Making babies requires a whole lot of small things to all occur perfectly at the exact same time. When something’s not quite right, it’s best to seek assistance from a fertility expert to help find a solution.

Some patients require simple assistance such as ovulation induction, IUI (intrauterine insemination) while others may need the more complex process of IVF and ICSI. At Elgin House, our women’s health specialists, gynaecologists and obstetricians will provide expert advice and organise the investigations that are suitable and appropriate for you.

We help provide assistance with fertility issues including:

  • Fertility investigations; including blood tests, ultrasounds.. etc

  • PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome)

  • Endometriosis

  • Ovulation disorders

  • Blocked fallopian tubes

  • Fibroids

Along with our medical specialists we also have in-house acupuncturist and naturopaths to provide a wholistic approach to fertility treatment.

Elgin House’s fertility specialists see both female and male patients for fertility advice and treatment.
